The 134,000sqft scheme demonstrates PBSA can meaningfully respond to the needs of local people and the environment - delivering student-beds with 35% onsite affordable and the ground plain entirely dedicated to community-facing use. Genuine grassroots relationships were built to understand local need and directly inform the proposals, with harder-to-reach groups prioritised. The scheme is all the better for it, with a new Community Kitchen and garden at the heart of the scheme, and local people speaking in support at Committee.
