Executive summary:

The collaborative planning approach has allowed for the re-use of previously developed land for the delivery of 1,214 new, high quality homes across a variety of tenures, alongside the creation of new jobs. It demonstrates that extensive technical analysis and partnership working can optimise housing delivery on sites which have historically been identified for much lower housing numbers, whilst maintaining exemplar design. The project highlights the results of Local Authorities and Developers working in partnership to maximise the delivery potential of sites, particularly in sustainable locations around key transport hubs, through appropriate analysis, mitigation and infrastructure delivery.
