The proposals deliver an extensive mixed-use regeneration with a community and sustainability focus, providing much needed new homes, but attainable to a wide demographic of new residents.

The proposals provide significant public realm, new shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and workspace at Albion Waterside will accommodate a commercial offer that fulfils residents’ daily needs, allowing them to work locally, creating a long-lasting place and support the ‘15-minute city’ concept. The proposals are designed to create something uniquely ‘Gravesend’, to ground the project and reinforce a sense of identity and belonging.

Planning Committee voted unanimously in favour to grant planning permission.
