ARDING & HOBBS, CLAPHAM JUNCTION - W.RE & CASCADE COMMUNICATIONS

The importance of Arding & Hobbs as a local landmark in Battersea, coupled with the closure of Debenhams, highlighted the need to deliver the project quickly; not least because the future of the High Street and how to regenerate post Covid 19 is entirely prescient. Despite significant challenges faced as lockdown began, our solution was to run two rounds of consultation, using both traditional engagement and innovative digital techniques. Our campaign resulted in significant backing for the project, securing 30 supportive comments on Wandsworth's planning register. Councillors unanimously approved the project at Wandsworth's Planning Applications Committee meeting in November 2020.
