Executive summary from entrant:
Bishopsgate Goodsyard is one of London’s most exciting redevelopment sites. One of the last undeveloped sites of scale in the capital, it will lead the way in terms of placemaking and holistic regeneration.
Once delivered, it will bring back to life the 4.5-hectare derelict site in Shoreditch, a former goods depot, which has lain idle since 1964. Bishopsgate Goodsyard will draw inspiration from neighbouring areas, offering a complementary new destination. It will include up to 500 new homes, 1.4 million sq ft of workspace, a new 2.6-acre park, restaurants, retail and leisure spaces, alongside two new cultural destinations.
