Executive summary from entrant:
Bishopsgate Goodsyard is one of today’s most exciting redevelopment sites. One of the last undeveloped sites of scale in the capital, it will lead the way in terms of place-making and holistic regeneration. Once delivered, it will bring back to life the 4.5-hectare derelict site in Shoreditch, a former goods depot, which has lain idle since 1964. The Goodsyard will draw inspiration from neighbouring areas offering a complementary new destination. It will include up to 500 new homes, 1.4 million sq ft of workspace, a 2.6-acre park, restaurants, retail and leisure spaces, alongside two new cultural destinations.
