Submission summary

The Brent Cross Planning Team have grappled with a complex permission to enable early delivery of the train station. Achieving RMA Approval necessitated extensive coordination of infrastructure and the multiple planning processes associated with that. This included consideration of drop-in applications to facilitate relocation of existing waste facility, rail freight interchange, sidings and new rail compound. On the back of an old permission and evolving market requirements, the Team successfully determined these applications in a collaborative and solution-finding fashion in liaison with the developer, stakeholders and statutory bodies whilst giving thorough consideration to compatibility, robustness and implementation of the permissions.
