Working in a highly constrained area the team have designed and consented a scheme that will significantly improve access by public transport to the Cambridge Biomedical Campus - an important community resource, providing high quality local employment and globally significant scientific research. Wider benefits include continued employment and housing growth, supported by sustainable transport modes. High levels of sustainability and effective design blend the station into the adjacent parkland whilst maintaining the openness of the green belt.
