Over the last 20 years, industrial capacity in London has fallen by around a quarter whilst the demand for industrial land is expected to rise, with a particular need for logistics and SME space to service London’s growing economy and population. Our strategy for Chadwell Heath responds to this, presenting a future-facing, mixed-use place that rethinks industrial value in London, setting a new benchmark for city placemaking. Chadwell Heath could become the 'Toolbox for London', a highly innovative place focused on making and industry, bringing work opportunities and affordable homes together in an integrated, sustainable neighbourhood.
