Entrant's Summary: Grove Court will secure the renewal of an obsolete, urban, accessible site. Responding to a substantial need for new student homes, it will house students from UCL, and affordable workspace operated by charity ACME. Grove Court has been developed in close collaboration with local community groups, providing a new free meeting space for Maryland Community Group. It enhances the local townscape with a carefully considered, sensitive, high-quality development, re-providing employment generating space and adding homes. Grove Court provides significant local community/ public benefits and social value, complemented by strong sustainability, environmental and economic credentials.
