Planning permission was received for Huntley Wharf in October 2018. Following this Berkeley entered into a partnership with L&Q to deliver 765 new high-quality homes.

Works commenced in July 2019, with the first residents moving onto the site in April 2022 and fully completed in January 2025. The development of the site has opened a previously closed off riverside and has become a space for a number of amenity facilities, including a nursery. The site is home to a mixed community comprising 230 affordable homes (30%), 281 homes have also been delivered as build-to-rent, providing alternative tenure options to residents.
