Kingsbrook Phase 3
Barratt David Wilson Homes and Building Relations PR
Too often, wildlife is an afterthought when building large developments. In this phase of Kingsbrook, hard work at the planning stage, developed through a long-term relationship between Barratt David Wilson Homes and the RSPB, has resulted in a project benefiting people and wildlife. Homes are located in areas of lower biodiversity, while new hedges, native trees and wildlife corridors have increased access to wildlife into these areas. Meanwhile, wet pasture and rushy grassland have been preserved to support birds such as snipe, while open spaces, meadows and woodlands provide rich habitats for creatures and people to live side by side.
