Kingsgrove Wantage

At Kingsgrove, St. Modwen has built community cohesion from the bottom up, prioritising physical placemaking to enable softer placemaking to happen, and putting mechanisms in place to empower and inspire residents to be part of creating their own community. The development creates a blueprint for residential projects that build community through collaboration, demonstrating to local authorities what can be achieved with large scale projects. It also demonstrates the interplay between green spaces and physical infrastructure and the need to invest in these elements early in the build phase so that the structures for community develop alongside the community itself.
