Entrant's Summary: The Lambourn Neighbourhood Plan considers the unique nature of the racing community and the issues faced around providing suitably priced racing staff accommodation in an isolated rural location with limited public transport and access to facilities and services. Lambourn has 137 listed buildings and structures, 4 conservation areas and 22 scheduled monuments, hosts the river Lambourn (SAC) and lies entirely within the North Wessex Downs AONB. The plan seeks to improve mental health and wellbeing for this niche community as well as balance large employment areas whilst supporting local businesses in accordance with the environmental impacts.
