Neighbourhood Priorities Fund

The London Legacy Development Corporation’s Neighbourhood Priorities Fund takes a community-driven approach to infrastructure funding. Applicants are supported to apply for a share of community infrastructure levy receipts to bring forward projects that address local challenges. A panel of residents and other local stakeholders are then invited to comment on and prioritise each project. Funded projects have included a design suite to help school leavers pursue careers in the built environment. The judges viewed the programme as “the best and most transparent approach to allocating CIL receipts”.
