Entrant's Summary: North Street is an important site in Guildford town centre, which will deliver significant benefits to the community. After sitting derelict for 30 years, North Street will become a new cultural destination in the town, with beautiful architecture, high quality public realm, pedestrianised streets, and new leisure and entertainment uses for visitors and residents to enjoy. St Edward will deliver 471 market and affordable homes, three new squares, a tranquil wellness garden, over 110 new trees, a 240% biodiversity new gain, as well as significant infrastructure improvements including refurbishing Guildford bus station, improving highways and pedestrianising North Street itself.
