‘One Cowcaddens’ is a proposal for 595 new homes, amenities and community space, with new landscaped gardens and public realm, which represents a vision for a new compact, vibrant and sustainable mixed-use 20-minute district in Glasgow’s city centre. Its design excellence is illustrated in delivering on the Six Qualities of Place, being Distinctive, Sustainable, Adaptable, Connected, Healthy and Pleasant. One Cowcaddens also creates a new urban identity, repairing a fragmented urban fabric at a key gateway into the city, and creating a new city marker whilst maximising the opportunity for panoramic views across the city.
