Pears Maudsley Centre for Children and Young People

The Scheme will redevelop an under-utilised brownfield site within the centre of the Maudsley Hospital Campus providing new community/healthcare floorspace. This represents a landmark opportunity for outstanding clinical research to improve the mental health of children and young people. It has been designed to bring under one roof world leading experts in mental health research and clinical care from the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, The Maudsley Charity and King’s College London. By working together, experts from these organisations will collaborate on ground-breaking research to better understand the causes of mental ill health and opportunities for early intervention.
