Entrant's Summary: Pendleton is a key focus for Salford's regeneration efforts. The City Council has a long-standing ambition to enhance the town centre, improve public spaces, renovate existing homes, including 1960s high-rise tower blocks, and introduce a substantial number of modern family homes. Stantec worked with the client to develop a masterplan to provide contemporary, high-quality, sustainable homes with a mix of types and tenures, including affordable housing, as part of the regeneration. The application and masterplan, prepared by Stantec on behalf of Lovell Partnerships, will deliver Salford’s greenest and most family-friendly urban neighbourhood with enhanced quality of life for all and an environment shaped for the future.
