Perry Barr 2040: A Vision for Legacy’ Masterplan

The masterplan sets out a vision shared by key stakeholders for the ongoing regeneration of the area, ensuring that the impact of the Commonwealth Games and the £750m public sector investment already secured is maximised. It provides confidence for investors and will unlock significant growth through infrastructure, placemaking, and direct delivery. The project is a successful example of a highly collaborative ‘one-team’ approach between the Council, Homes England, and Arup, delivering a visionary framework which is very well-received by partners and the public. The scope and ambition of the masterplan, and the buy-in of stakeholders and funders, should be recognised.
