Red Bank

Entrant's Summary: Red Bank is the first phase of the wider Victoria North Initiative to the north of Manchester City Centre and Victoria Station, offering an opportunity to deliver approximately 15,000 homes in 15-20 years. The Masterplan covers over 15 hectares and will include up to 4,801 homes in three distinct neighbourhoods centred on the new City River Park and the River Irk. Up to half of Red Bank will consist public open space, held together by a kilometre-long pedestrian/cycle Climate Loop. All neighbourhood uses, including a primary school, a health centre and resident clubhouses will be accessible along this Climate Loop.
