Rochester Riverside - Phases 1 & 2

Award winning Rochester Riverside, Kent stretches from Rochester Bridge to Doust Way. Working with clients Countryside Properties and The Hyde Group, FrancisKnight public art consultants collaborated with the design team of landscape architects LUC and architects BPTW to deliver embedded public art commissions within this flagship development. Artists Katayoun Dowlatshahi and Christopher Tipping were appointed to evoke & express the rich environmental and cultural legacy, lost to history & redevelopment. Using technology and advanced manufacturing processes the commissions, combined traditional hand crafts to capture the legacy of the site, provoking curiosity and interpretation for residents and visitors to Rochester Riverside.
