Shakespeare Road

The scheme seeks to redevelop an existing safeguarded waste site in a residential area providing new public realm and homes as well as accommodating the waste capacity on a more appropriate alternative site. A new street frontage is created, with the taller buildings towards the railway. The layout creates new central landscaped gardens with play space for residents to enjoy (35% affordable homes).

The proposals will complete the street scene, replacing the existing out of character trees with a landscaping solution more appropriate to the residential nature of the area as well as secure playspace for the development's residents.
