Southgates Masterplan Development Brief

The Southgates Masterplan Development Brief sets a strategic vision and principles to guide future development within the historic Southgates area of King’s Lynn. The Masterplan is centred on removing traffic from the Grade I listed South Gate Scheduled Ancient Monument, to create a heritage centrepiece and vibrant urban quarter, supporting delivery of new homes and mixed uses for the community at a key gateway entrance to the town. The masterplan creates opportunities to unveil and interpret the area’s historic significance, respond to new patterns of working and movement, contribute to addressing the climate emergency, and encourage investment throughout King’s Lynn.
