Fawley Waterside

The project has thrown up fascinating legal complexities throughout which, as part of a large multi-disciplinary team, we have had to overcome. These have included national park aspects, environmental impact assessment, appropriate assessment under the Conservation of Habitats Regulations, the application of CIL, establishment and management of off-site SANG and nature park land and interaction with marine planning law. Fawley power station, with its landmark chimney, was a significant presence in the area. There has been much scrutiny as to all aspects of the scheme throughout our involvement.
