Union Terrace Gardens

Entrant's Summary: LDA Design was commissioned by Aberdeen City Council to regenerate Union Terrace Gardens, a neglected but much-loved listed Victorian park in the heart of Aberdeen’s historic city centre conservation area. The future potential of the area has been unlocked by reinstating the Gardens historic significance and restoring its grandeur, celebrating the beloved character of the Gardens, whilst creating a resilient, landmark contemporary city park.
