West Bromwich Masterplan (endorsed Feb 2022)

The West Bromwich Masterplan identifies key priorities for investment in the town centre over the next 30 years: the creation of a metro gateway and a new town square; securing new green links, parks, and sustainable travel networks; and development of a major mixed-use community. Town centre improvements such as the installation of ‘parklets’ and night-time lighting have already been realised. The judges praised the masterplan as "comprehensive and impactful," "a wonderful example of what plan-making can achieve", and as already having produced "tangible results".
