Sara Whelan

Sara started in Local Government in 2003 and is currently Hemel Place Strategy, Programme manager at Dacorum Borough Council. Since September 2014 she has also taken on the Policy Manager role at the Planning Officers Society. She leads on responding to Government consultations and liaises closely with Government to shape planning policies on behalf of public sector planners. 

Sara seeks to find common ground with other disciplines, organisations and the media to improve the planning process, policy and implementation.
