Simon Marsh
Head of Nature Protection , RSPB
Simon Marsh MBE is Head of Nature Protection, the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB). Simon is a chartered town planner with wide experience of protecting and restoring nature in the UK, safeguarding the best sites for nature and threatened wild birds.
Before moving to the RSPB in 2004, Simon worked as a planning officer at Sefton Council, Merseyside, and Essex County Council, with a two-year break advising the Government of Mozambique.
He is a graduate of the Universities of Durham, Sheffield and Liverpool.
